Apprentice Project Co-ordinator (35810)

An amazing opportunity is available at The Growth Company. Acting as the ‘front door’ of the integrated Salford service – providing high quality service to Salford residents and stakeholders, delivering effective administrative support.


A normal day would include:


To be the ‘front door’ of the integrated service:

• Take telephone, email and digital referrals and enquiries, ensuring attention to detail and ensure confidentiality and professionalism are kept at all times

• Triage referrals and queries (in line with process) to the relevant support or advisor or service

• Booking of initial appointments into employment and training advisors diaries

• Escalating any complex referrals (outwidth of process) to team manager for assistance with triage


To maintain paperwork and electronic records in order to ensure a high level of contract compliance and specifically to: 

• Audit electronic system against paper system

• Audit paperwork to check for compliance 

• Ensure all files are in line with contract KPIs and processes

• Update systems on a monthly basis 

• Maintain knowledge on contract changes to KPIs and inform providers 

• Support archiving of records 

• Work within strict data security protocols 


To provide general administrative support for the team: 

• Work alongside colleagues to ensure compliance with procedures and to ensure that case loads are managed effectively

• Produce management information on a weekly and monthly basis 

• Manage the team inbox and respond promtley to enquires

• Assist with marketing and communication to wider partners and paticipants to support the Employer Brokearge service with employment promotions

• Liaise with internal and external partners as appropriate, via phone, e-mail 

• Work to daily, weekly and monthly targets and deadlines

• To communicate information in both a professional and informal manner to the general public, including vacancies to support the Employer Brokerage service

• Ensuring the smooth running of the team by efficient and effective time management of ones own work

• Willingness to attend job fairs and events to support the wider team

• Raising payments and purchase orders using internal financial systems

• Working on and communicating with internal finance department systems and processes

• Additional responsibilities for other key tasks within the contract.
