Are you looking for a role where you can gain valuable surveying experience whilst studying towards a recognised industry qualification?
If so, we are offering the opportunity to undertake a 5-year BSc (Hons) Chartered Surveyor1 Degree apprenticeship in the Land & Resources pathway.
As an apprentice within the Environment Agency you will gain new skills working within a supported learning environment, receive on the job training as well as time to complete your learning.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, not only will you have gained valuable skills and experience from working in an estates surveying team within the Environment Agency, but you will also be a full chartered member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
As well an undertaking your apprenticeship you’ll work directly with our project support officers, surveyors and senior surveyors. You’ll be involved in a wide variety of surveying work, which will keep your days varied and interesting whilst building your knowledge and experience. You’ll work on our national flood risk programme, flood alleviation projects, land management works and various operational projects. You’ll undertake collation, interpretation and straightforward analyses of information and data, developing and furthering relationships with customers and stakeholders.
To be eligible for this apprenticeship please carefully read the qualification requirements within the Additional Information pack. If you are currently awaiting your A-level results, you can still apply for this role but must be confident you will achieve the minimum of 96 UCAS Tariff Points. If you do not achieve these points, then the employment offer will be retracted.
