In this video, 22-year old Alison talks about hervolunteer programmein Tanzania which isfocused on Micro-finance Projects. Alison believes that micro financingis adevelopment intiative thattruly empowersthe local people by teaching them how to maximise loan finance but not telling them what to do with it. Her time is spent both 'out in the field' andalso in schools or colleges doing training. Thetime spent talking and relaxing with the Tanzanian people is the most rewarding part, Alison says.
