About UsNot Going To Uni was founded in 2008 and has captured the imagination of not only students, but parents, teachers and career advisors. We are now the UK's leading websitededicated to helping school & college leavers make informed decisions about their future by showing the opportunities that exist outside of the traditional university route. These can include apprenticeships, degree apprenticeships, gap years, traineeships and jobs. Despite this, we are not anti-uni!We work with some of the biggest companies in the world such as Mercedes, Google, Facebook and many more… as well as local companies. We believe in allowing young people the best opportunities to ensure they have a great career in something theywantto do!Here's somekeyNot Going To Uni facts:

How Can We Help You?We strive to offer young people the best opportunities in their areas in order for them to achieve their dream careers. On average, at any one time, we have 4,500 live opportunities on our website… that’s a lot of option for you to find that one opportunity that appeals to you. We aim to have opportunities in every corner of the country, although sometimes this cannot be achieved due to who’s offering roles at that time.We have optimised our website recently in order to make it easier for the user to view and apply for opportunities. The user journey has been significantly improved to allow users and the company advertising the roles to connect. By uploading your CV onto the site and applying, it allows for the company to immediately see who has applied and get in contact if you’re what they’re looking for!We also look to help parents in what can be a difficult time, results day for example. Apprenticeships are often stereotyped and have a negative stigma dating back decades. We are striving to educate and inform parents in order for them to help their children make the best decisions… our parent pack page is exclusively used for this. We don’t just look to post opportunities that we have, but to promote information and updates on apprenticeships and early careers. Not Going To UniAll of us who work at Not Going To Uni have had different paths to this point. Some of us have gone to university, some haven’t, and some have gone through the apprenticeship process. We are a prime example of exactly what we preach. Different people have different paths that can all lead to the same place and shows that there is no such thing as the wrong path! We currently have an apprentice ourselves and are looking to take on more staff in the very near future. We work hard to ensure that we are always aiming to improve user experiences not only with us but with the companies that advertise their roles with us. We are also constantly looking at ways to be more efficient in the way we operate and keeping our audience aware of changes and benefits to apprenticeships and early careers.
