With a starting salary of £14, 637 rising to £18,125 on completion of your Apprenticeship, the Royal Air Force offers over 20 apprenticeships in a broad range of careers including engineering, aviation operations, hospitality & catering and IT. To gain an apprenticeship in the Royal Air Force you need to meet all of the entry requirements for whichever role you wish to apply for and get through all stages of the application process. To prepare you for your exciting career in the Royal Air Force you will start with Phase 1 military training, the formal training undertaken by all new entrants, where you will be provided with the necessary skills and knowledge to begin your military career. Following successful completion of this training you will then be enrolled on your apprenticeship as part of your phase two (trade) training.
