The NVQ Level 2 Jewellery Manufacture course is an eight month programme where for two days a week, you will be based in the workshop, learning skills which include silver jewellery making, wax carving and casting, stone setting and enamelling. This is a chance for you to join our 74% of graduates who now work in the jewellery trade and start that dream job working in one of the country’s liveliest industries.
Entry requirements: 16 years upwards - Must be a resident of the EU for the last three years - GCSE, A Levels and degrees are not necessary when applying for the NVQ Level 2
There are now only fifteen places left to start at the end of October 2010 and you could also receive government funding which means you do not have to pay tuition or examination fees.Apart from being able to claim Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA) as well as a student Oyster card which gives you 30% discount on travel, you can also get a NUS card which gives you discounts on products from your favourite retail stores.
