Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship

We are looking for enthusiastic Trainee Pharmacy Technician Apprentices to complete a GPhC-accredited qualification and the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician (Integrated) Apprenticeship Standard. We are looking for someone who exhibits enthusiasm and commitment to the role and future career as a healthcare professional
Exhibits enthusiasm and commitment to learning and self-development To undertake training and prove competence in pharmaceutical duties under the
direction of the Practice Supervisor in each section including:
Accurate dispensing of prescribed items
Accurate record keeping o Receiving and checking the validity of medication requests e.g. prescriptions
Handing out prescriptions and counselling patients on the use of their medicines
Accuracy checking of prescribed items dispensed by others
Ordering, receiving, maintaining and supplying pharmaceutical stock
Medicines optimisation activities including drug history taking, medicines reconciliation, patient own drugs checks and advanced patient counselling
