Apprentices at Beckett Telecom will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and the chance to work on impactful digital transformation projects.
Overview:
You’ll gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced professionals to support the successful delivery of projects and service contracts. Most of your learning will take place on the job, giving you the opportunity to develop practical skills and a deep understanding of project management fundamentals.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager and Operations Team in delivering projects and service contracts.
- Learn to manage projects and service contracts from initiation to completion, ensuring accuracy, quality, and budget control.
- Work on multiple projects often simultaneously, gaining exposure to real-world challenges and solutions.
- Gradually take on more responsibility, eventually leading projects as your skills and confidence grow.

- A proactive and enthusiastic learner with an interest in project management and a desire to grow professionally.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills are essential. You should be able to express ideas clearly, listen actively, and adapt your communication style to suit different audiences—from technical teams to clients and suppliers. You’ll be expected to contribute to meetings, write clear project updates, and build strong working relationships across the business.
- Confidence in collaboration, working effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Willingness to take initiative, demonstrate resilience, and step up to lead as your experience and confidence grow.

Entry requirements:
- Level 3 Qualification (Apprenticeship/A Levels/BTEC etc.)
- OR equivalent work experience (typically 2 years in a relevant role)
AND
- 5 x GCSE’s including English & Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above.
Working hours:
30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 4pm with 30 minute lunch break.
