Overview:

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our expanding team.  This role is required to assist with the daily tactical marketing and associated sales activities. The Marketing Assistant will help with and learn key marketing principles, both on the job, and through an assisted learning programme, with sales support and training being fostered in-house.

The role is expected to be a growth role, as assisted learning is being offered to leverage future growth within the business.

Responsibilities:

Marketing:

  • Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns to promote our Microsoft Dynamics 365 and third-party solutions
  • Manage and update company social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), ensuring content aligns with industry trends and Microsoft partner requirements
  • Support content collation/creation, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, email newsletters, and website updates
  • Maintain and optimise our website with fresh, SEO-optimised content about ERP, CRM, and F&B retail solutions and trend points
  • Learn PPC, paid social, and retargeting of ad campaigns to generate leads, and bring this in to the business
  • Assist in planning and executing webinars, trade shows and customer engagement events ensuring lead capture and follow-up
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in our sector
  • Monitor and report on marketing KPIs, including lead generation, website traffic, and email engagement
  • Work closely with Microsoft and our partners to ensure compliance with co-marketing programmes and branding guidelines

Sales:

  • Assist the sales team by qualifying and nurturing leads generated from marketing campaigns, events, and inbound inquiries
  • Maintain and update the CRM to track customer interactions and pipeline progress
  • Assist with preparing sales reports, proposals, and presentations tailored to the products being offered
  • Help coordinate and follow up on leads from events, email campaigns, and Microsoft partner programmes.
  • Assist in preparing sales demo materials and documentation for prospective clients
  • Participate in client meetings, take notes, and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
  • Provide basic product information to prospective clients and direct inquiries to the appropriate sales personnel
  • Assist in customer onboarding and support by preparing relevant documentation and resources

Typical daily tasks:

  • Posting social updates about solutions, trends, CSR and customer success stories
  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing them with materials and contacts as appropriate
  • Updating and maintaining CRM records with accurate lead data and follow-up activities
  • Assisting with email marketing campaigns and tracking engagement
  • Preparing sales decks and marketing collateral for client meetings and demos
  • Conducting competitor research, product research, trends research
  • Optimising blog posts and website content
  • Supporting event logistics for trade shows, partner events, and webinars
  • Analysing marketing and sales performance data for key stakeholders

Required skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create content
  • Familiarity with the Dynavics portfolio
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Proficiency with IT and cloud software solutions
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to marketing and sales
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to learn and grow
  • Willingness to attend training sessions and workshops related to sales and marketing

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

37.5 hours per week.
