Lead Recruiter - Canterbury

Recruiting tomorrow's Army today.

You will take responsibility delivering attraction and recruiting activities in a defined area.

You will provide exceptional customer focus and a positive attitude to professionally overcoming challenges. In addition to requiring a high standard of verbal and written communication skills the role involves motivating team members whose performance is measured against a number of targets. What you'll be doing:

  • Interviewing candidates and working consultatively to support them throughout their bespoke recruitment journey
  • Attending and leading attraction events to raise candidate awareness of Army careers and working with educational providers to promote awareness of careers within the Army
  • Leading a small team of recruiters
  • Assessing, interpreting and reporting data
  • Managing relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining awareness of current market trends to inform all recruitment activities
  • Using the latest social media tools to attract and engage with candidates

What we're looking for:

  • Previous leadership/supervisory experience
  • Knowledge/experience of recruitment processes, would be ideal
  • A self-starter, with a driven and motivated attitude
  • Experienced in working to set targets
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong negotiator with people influencing skills
  • Flexible work attitude and willingness to travel to meet the needs of the business
