Are you a safety-focused, gas-qualified professional? Gas Safe Register are actively seeking a Gas Inspector to join their field services team in London.

As a Gas Inspector, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining high gas safety standards by inspecting and reporting on registered businesses in the area.

What you'll be doing:

• Execute inspections based on HSE criteria and corporate objectives.
• Thoroughly assess compliance with Gas Industry Statutory and Normative documents, as well as internal operating procedures.
• Collaborate with registered businesses to address identified defects promptly and in accordance with standards and timelines.
• Prepare inspection reports within Service Level Agreements and to the required quality.
• Take appropriate action when unsafe gas work is discovered during inspections.
• Manage consumer expectations consistently.
• Address registered business expectations effectively.

What we're looking for:

• Valid ACS certificates, including CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1.
• Additional ACS certificates in LPG, Non-Domestic & Catering, LAU1, and DAH1 are highly desirable.
• Auditor qualification (D32/A1) or equivalent are desirable.
• Experience working with various gas appliances or quality control of gas work.
• Understanding of Health & Safety, Building Regulations, related codes and normative documents.
• Ability to risk assess environments.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development (CPD).
• Understanding of challenges faced by gas, plumbing, electrical, and H&V installation businesses.
• Proficiency in using tools and conducting relevant tests during inspections.
