Digital Systems Apprentice

Overview: 
We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated apprentice to join our team and help with the day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will become a system expert on 'Drive' software, sharing customer information with other departments, ensuring that information is stored and shared correctly.
  • Ensuring documentation is captured and uploaded digitally using accurate data entry skills.
  • Logging jobs on 2Serve software to collaborate with internal stakeholders by noting external information from customers.
  • Acting as first-point of contact for the business over the phone and in person, triaging any enquiries and passing to the relevant team where necessary by operating on Reception duty.
  • Taking ownership of incoming and outgoing mail (Outlook) and using MS Excel to track this.
  • Ad hoc tasks such as working as part of a team with Telecoms department.

Salary:
Banding is Min Wage for Age - £13,312, up to £17,888 per annum.

Working week: 
8:30am till 5:30pm, 
Monday-Friday, 
40 hours a week.

They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.
Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
