Digital Systems Apprentice

Hireline have been providing plant and tool hire services to local councils, major construction companies, groundworks contractors, small builders and self-build clients since 2010.

Hireline have continued investment in new plant and tool hire equipment enables us to provide first class service to existing and new customers alike, as a result of this we are looking to hire an apprentice to join our Hire desk team at our new base in Macmerry Industrial Estate.

Vacancy Description:

Hireline's busy hire desk require an enthusiastic and hard working individual who is willing to work hard as a valued member of our team supplying plant and equipment for hire throughout central Scotland.

This is an entry-level role but a pivotal one, as you have the opportunity to grow as the business does!

  • You will become a key digital support staff member, for all staff & clients, working collaboratively across our network. This will include processing standard requests, problem solving to investigate customer issues, as well as reviewing process functionality.
  • In this role you will become an expert user insphire our system used for almost all daily tasks. You will have an advanced level of access to process equipment orders, provide information requests, and investigate issues and queries.
  • You will work collaboratively across the business being the first point of contact to support others in the organisation to understand specific features of these packages, and how to use them for record keeping, finance requirements & overall support.
  • You will become a super user over the duration of your apprenticeship, leading to an expert level of knowledge which you will be required to share with other end users across the organisation.
  • You will be proficient in all the Microsoft Office Suite. Using this suite, you will contribute to reporting for importing & exporting, data collection & generating client specific reports and invoicing.
  • You will be given access to the company’s social media and email campaigns in order to support our Marketing with ad hoc requests, promoting the business and staying up to date with latest company developments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A passionate individual with a desire to do well is all that is required for this role, any administrative experience is beneficial but not essential to the job.

Additional Information:

  • Salary -  £18,000 per annum
  • Working hours - 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. 1 hr lunch
