Digital Support Apprentice

Armour Home Improvements are a family-owned business based in Ayrshire who specialise in suppling and fitting windows and doors. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, the company is constantly growing and are committed to giving young people an opportunity to develop. The biggest part of Armour Home Improvements is the service they offer. They make sure they cater for all customer needs before and after installation of any of the products.

The company are looking for a proactive, hard-working, confident young person to join a dynamic and rewarding company supplying and installing double glazing and related services to domestic and commercial clients. You will be part of a small but growing team of 13, where we have a tight bond!

Responsibilities:

  • Become a superuser of Adminbase (a client relationship management system)
  • You will be creating and sending out sales invoices, managing spreadsheets, managing payments, sending out receipts, and logging guarantees on this system
  • Acting as first point of contact in managing diaries, booking and arranging jobs for the fitting team and service engineers
  • To track diaries and assign roles you will be using MS Outlook and Sharepoint
  • Training to become an expert on multiple design software systems such as Window Designer Cloud, Palladio and Hurst Live to encapsulate what designs customers wish to see on their finalised products. All designs are then passed over to engineers
  • Making and answering phone calls to/from customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively with customers/stakeholders to update them with quotes and maintaining product knowledge to assist with queries

Salary:

£14,000 - £16,000 per annum

Working hours:

Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
