Overview: 
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience as you complete a Multi-Channel Marketer - Level 3 Apprenticeship. 

The Digital Marketing Apprentice will support our sales & marketing activities by producing marketing materials, creating social media content and engaging in marketing automation platforms.

Salary: £21,000 per annum.

Duties: [will include:] 

  • Learning about our technology solutions, vendors and target markets
  • Working closely with the central marketing team to support campaign development and events planning
  • Engaging with Data & Analytics sales and delivery teams to author campaign and customer success related content
  • Taking responsibility for marketing automation platforms to support outbound lead generation via email and social media
  • Managing go-to-market related content within appropriate sections of our website
  • Producing analysis of campaign activity and effectiveness with a continuous improvement mindset

What we are looking for: 
Desirable skills: 

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing: They should have a grasp of core concepts like SEO, PPC, social media marketing, and email marketing.
  • Content creation: The ability to write clear and concise content is important.
  • Experience with CRM platforms: As they'll be supporting a sales team, some experience with Customer Relationship Management software could be useful.

Personal qualities:  

  • Eagerness to learn: This is an apprenticeship, so a strong desire to gain knowledge and develop skills is crucial.
  • Adaptability: Digital marketing is constantly evolving, so someone who can keep up with new trends and technologies will be successful.
  • Strong work ethic: This role will require someone who is reliable, hardworking, and can meet deadlines.
  • Communication skills: They should be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Teamwork: The ability to collaborate effectively with the Data & Analytics sales & delivery teams, as well as central marketing, is essential.
  • Interest in Data & Analytics: A natural curiosity about data and its role in business would be a plus.

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Future prospects:

  • Broader Business Engagement: As a diverse business, there are options to expand the remit to Cyber Security and/or Managed IT Services or to transition fully into one of these discipline areas.
  • Team Leadership: Success in this role will see the creation of additional apprentice roles in the Data & Analytics marketing function which would lead to a team leader position. Team Leadership of marketing apprentices across all business divisions could be possible.
  • Marketing Manager: This is a currently filled role, but any re-hiring process would favour internal promotion. Business expansion could create multiple areas of management within dedicated Marketing functions.
