our apprenticeships
As
an apprentice casework assistant or victim service assistant, you make a real
difference to society whilst building the skills and knowledge you need to
support your career development.
Casework
assistants provide vital administrative support on the front line of our
service – you prepare cases for court,
serve documents and record information accurately. You’re
the first point of contact for your team, providing excellent customer to
maintain public confidence in our work.
As a victim service assistant, you deliver exceptional customer
service to enhance how we communicate and engage with victims of crime.
You help victims to
understand our role and the decisions we make, the role of the wider criminal
justice system, and their rights during the legal process.
Whether you’re preparing cases in a specialist
unit such as organised crime, or helping to improve
the service we offer to victims, your level 3 customer service apprenticeship
gives you the skills you need to thrive in your role.
About
you
We’re
looking for people aged 18 or over, with excellent written, verbal and digital
communication skills. You don’t need any qualifications to apply – we’re
looking for commitment to public service and your own personal development.
You’re supported to achieve GCSE qualifications in maths and English, if you
don’t already have these at grade 4/C. If you want to make a real difference in
society, building your skills and knowledge while you earn, we’d like to hear
from you.
