You will be joining a hard-working team that are always busy but make time for themselves whether that be for some skills development, joining a staff focus group for an area that interests them (e.g. Pride festival, disability group, or Eco Rally) or just stopping for a quick cuppa.
So, what will your day to day look like?
You will be part of Marketing and Communications Team and supporting with innovation, creativity, and delivering campaigns with results!
Every day will be different, but your main tasks will be:
How does the Apprenticeship work?
You will be working towards your Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Qualification and attend 1-2-1 meetings via teams every month to discuss your progress with your tutor and learn about the modules including marketing methods, principles & practices, business organisation & copywriting, campaign implementation & management, IT & digital tools, and more! You will have a minimum of 6 hours per week to complete apprenticeship work which includes assignments, research, and training within your role. All apprenticeship work is completed in the workplace during your working hours.

This is a job that offers great variety! Not only will you get involved with 16 very different schools, but you’ll have the opportunity for days in the office with the team, some home working (no commute!) and time on school sites supporting with video and photo shoots. The early finish of 3:30pm on a Friday is likely to be popular, and one of the team’s favourite days of the year is coordinating the staff glitzy Heart Awards event at Athena in Leicester.
And although this is a year-round job (we don’t have time off when teachers do!), you’ll find school holidays provide a quieter time to catch up on tasks and when you can wear your casual clothes!
