Overview:
We are looking for a Marketing Apprentice to join our growing team in Wakefield. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in a wide variety of marketing activities while also providing support to our customer service and administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and publishing engaging and shareable content (images, videos) across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and live chat, ensuring that enquiries and complaints are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Providing admin support: order processing, daily banking, issuing refunds, and dealing with invoices using K8 software.
- Assisting with the coordination of the social media and communications calendar.
- Liaising with branches regularly to gather content and insights.
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop customer-focused content.
- Creating and editing marketing assets using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Supporting digital channels through email marketing, SMS, push notifications, and website content creation.
- Monitoring marketing trends and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Confidently featuring in video content when needed.
- Assisting the marketing team with day-to-day activities as required.

- Full UK driver’s license.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Entry requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
