“I decided my best chance of success would be to follow my own dreams, but I never thought Ingeus would be able to help me. Well, they certainly have!”
Tom’s passion for music meant that he was determined to find a job in the industry but struggled to find a role. “Since leaving school I applied for thousands of jobs,” he says, “But the competition is so fierce and the whole experience left me extremely frustrated.”
Thanks to a partnership between Ingeus and music training specialists All Star Entertainments, he has been awarded a year-long apprenticeship. The role will help him develop business skills, learn from record label owners and talk to industry professionals, as well as earn an NVQ in youth work.
