Conservation Volunteering In Madagascar With Azafady - Places Available To Join In November
4 years ago

Volunteer on the Azafady Conservation Programme this November and work on conservation projects in one of the most biologically diverse regions in the world – Madagascar.

The Azafady Conservation programme is based in the beautiful coastal region of Sainte Luce which is surrounded by extremely rare and threatened fragments of littoral (coastal) forest. It integrates practical hands-on conservation research on endangered flora and fauna, in particular lemurs, reptiles and amphibians, with community initiatives and environmental education.

By volunteering on the Azafady Conservation Programme you will gain invaluable vocational experience ideal for those interested in pursuing a career in Biology or Conservation or anyone looking to develop practical skills working as part of an international grassroots charity.

We currently have 2 or 4 week opportunities for volunteers to join the Conservation team starting on the 16th or 30th November 2012.

Azafady is a UK-registered charity and Malagasy NGO working on community conservation and sustainable development projects in south eastern Madagascar.
