interactive modules, you’ll learn from professionals, complete practical
activities and uncover exciting geographical career pathways.
What’s Included
Curious about where geography could take you? This Virtual
Work Experience programme explores how geographical skills are used in the real
world, from understanding natural hazards to planning cities, managing
resources and using powerful mapping technologies. Across five modules, you’ll
learn how geographers solve problems, analyse data and make decisions that
impact people, places and the environment. You’ll also hear from professionals,
explore real examples, try out practical activities and test your knowledge as
you go. By the end, you’ll have a clearer sense of how geography links to your
interests and some of the career pathways you could follow in the future.
