Looking to start a Level 2 Motor Vehicle apprenticeship from May 2026? We are recruiting motivated candidates across Hayes, Southall, West Drayton, Uxbridge and Harrow. This is a great opportunity to begin a career in the motor vehicle industry, gain hands-on workshop experience, and work towards a recognised Level 2 qualification.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are interested in starting a Level 2 Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship from May 2026.

This apprenticeship is ideal for anyone passionate about cars, vehicle maintenance, and developing practical mechanical skills within a professional workshop environment. You will work alongside experienced technicians while receiving structured training towards a recognised qualification.

Opportunities are available across Hayes, Southall, West Drayton, Uxbridge and Harrow.

Typical duties may include:

  • Assisting with vehicle servicing and maintenance
  • Learning diagnostic and repair techniques
  • Carrying out basic mechanical and electrical tasks
  • Maintaining workshop cleanliness and safety standards
  • Using tools and equipment under supervision
  • Supporting experienced technicians with day-to-day workshop operations

Entry requirements

HRUC will only consider those applicants that have already achieved GSCE at Grade 9-4/A-C Including Maths and English or the equivalent. 19+ Applicants do not require grade 4 but should be willing to study Functional skills alongside apprenticeship if required

Training to be provided

 

Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x1 day per week either at Uxbridge, Harrow or Hayes Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship.

The apprentice will be required to complete:

•                Work towards gaining a full Qualification - Autocare Technician Level 2 

•                Employment Rights and Responsibilities.

•                Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours.

•                Standard and End Point Assessment.

Other training will be provided by the employer as required to enable the fulfilment of the job
