The Accounts Apprentice will support the Finance team with a range of accounting and administrative activities, gaining practical experience across invoicing, financial reporting, expense processing, project tracking and business administration while studying towards a professional accounting qualification.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assist with the monthly invoicing process for parts sales, service contracts and project-related work.
Prepare and process intercompany recharge invoices to group companies, primarily for resource costs.
Collate, review and record weekly employee timesheets.
Input and analyse labour bookings to support project and operational reporting.
Collect and check employee expense claims.
Maintain and update the Purchase Order (PO) register, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
Assist with the collection and recording of sustainability and environmental performance data.
Maintain project financial trackers and support project cost monitoring activities.
Prepare and post accounting journals under supervision.
Update and maintain the company mileage tracker using information from expense claims.
Provide general administrative and accounting support to the Finance team as required.
Undertake other ad hoc duties and projects to support the wider business.

Entry requirements
HRUC will only consider those applicants that have already achieved GSCE at Grade 9-4/A-C Including Maths and English or the equivalent.
Training to be provided
Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x1 day per week either at Uxbridge, Harrow or Hayes Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship.

Standard and End Point Assessment.
Functional Skills in English, Maths, and ICT (if required).
Other training will be provided by the employer as required to enable the fulfilment of the job role.
