Free apprenticeship and education events are coming to the UK in 2026/27

For 18 years, Not Going To Uni has championed the idea that university is one route, not the only route. So we are delighted to support the National Apprenticeship & Education Events, a series of free, face-to-face events taking place at major venues across the UK throughout 2026 and 2027.
Whether you are a young person weighing up your options, a parent or carer supporting that decision, a careers leader planning enrichment, or an employer looking to reach future talent, there is a date and a reason for you to get involved.
What are the National Apprenticeship & Education Events?
The events bring together thousands of school pupils, college students, parents, carers and individuals with top UK employers, universities, colleges and training providers, all in one place and all in a welcoming, interactive setting. Visitors get expert advice on apprenticeships, career options and educational pathways, plus hands-on experiences from leading organisations.
The Scottish events run in partnership with Skills Development Scotland. Across the rest of the UK, the series is backed by a wide network of regional and national supporters.

- Parents and carers who want to understand the options and ask questions directly.
- CareerS leaders and teachers looking for a free, ready-made enrichment trip for a group.

How to register your free place
Booking takes a couple of minutes. Head to the registration site, pick your nearest event and reserve your free place. Careers leaders can book group places for their students through the same site.

These events are an opportunity to talk to pupils and students face-to-face, offer advice and guidance, inspire the next generation and raise your employer brand with the people who matter most: tomorrow's workforce.
